Just so you know, what I’m about to say has nothing to do with the title. I just figured since it’s Valentine’s day, I may as well say something about it, and the title was the only place I could fit it in at. Sorry.

Well, I cooked my "once-a-month-new-thing" today—I made pasta fagioli in the dinner genie—er, I mean in the crockpot. You know, those things are amazing; you dump a bunch of miscellaneous ingredients in the big pot—anything will do: tomatoes, onions, meat, old shoes, garbage you forgot to take out; it doesn’t really matter—and then you push the little start button and tell it to cook until the shoe leather is tender. I read up on homeschooling on a couple of blogs, and then Aaron and I ran a few errands (I wish I could get in shape running errands instead of miles. Alas!), and when we came back—voila! dinner was cooked. I must say, ground beef and canned beans are much easier to work with than Chicken Little.
