It’s a boy!

Christian Nathanael Birchler was mercilessly kicked out of his comfy home and into the “real world" at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, April 24 2007. His scheduled delivery date was May 7, but since that would have conflicted with the doctor’s golf game, Kari was induced on Tuesday morning instead. The doctor was bored, so he did a c-section so he wouldn’t have to wait around all afternoon. It was a good thing he did, because Christian had the cord wrapped around his head twice and his shoulder once.
Christian was 7 pounds 6 ounces and 18.5 inches. He has a head full of hair, and he’s a cutie.
Both Kari and Christian are doing well, and Aaron managed to not pass out during delivery. Kari and Christian should be able to go home Friday afternoon.

Congratulations! He is adorable. I was hoping his birthday was on the 30th or 19th(my brothers) just for kicks, but I guess he couldn’t wait. My brother had a cord around his neck when he popped out also. I think he thought it would be funny, since at the time he did not need to breath. :)
And Dan, I doubt his first word is going to be Apple… its Apple, Inc. :D
