And We’re in Trouble Now

We have, tonight, entered the realm of insecurity. At least, as far as our carpet and upholstery go. Tonight, our almost-fifteen-month-old child discovered the secret to removing the only protection our carpet and upholstery have against his yet untrained bodily functions. He figured out how to take his diaper off. I saw the child working on the puzzle this afternoon, and warned Aaron that we’d better nip this in the bud. When Christian finally arrived at the solution of achieving total freedom, Aaron acted quickly. He grabbed his camera.
I have decided to punish him by publishing his naked baby pictures on the internet for all the world (or, at least, our minuscule viewing audience) to see. He may not care now, but someday he will. And he will forever rue this night.
EDIT: Aaron isn’t letting me post the embarrassing picture—so I’ll have to settle for the modest one. Sigh. If my carpet ever gets desecrated, though, it’s gonna be no holds barred. I just want him to know that.
